<![CDATA[Elite Gaming all News Posts]]> http://www.egcelite.com en Sat, 18 Feb 2012 21:15:43 GMTElite Gaming all News Postshttp://www.egcelite.com<![CDATA[RaveN's blog]]>                What's up ladies and gents, boys and girls RaveN here for another blog entry.  I will be doing these blogs weekly just giving updates for the website and to the members about things going on around the community.  So with that I'd like to say welcome to all the new faces in EGC that I've noticed and have fun we're all a great bunch of people.  

               Also good luck to all who are doing the 1v1s cant wait to get this tourney going and to see some of u there im playing in both black ops and mw2.  

              I would also like to propose a match Leaders vs. Members.  In other words Section, Division and Council vs. Generals on down to Privates.  Must be active members though no one that hasnt done anything in more than 3 weeks unless they have a legit reasoning.  With all tournaments I'd like to find a way to post an achievement on the members profile, such as a trophy or badge stating that achievement.  Such as 1v1 tournament winner and 2nd place, or leader vs member placement.  I feel this would help give some recognition to those who are active in these ways and help the community.

]]>Sat, 26 Feb 2011 04:51:51 GMT<![CDATA[RaveN's blog]]>          What's up guys and girls, RaveN here, just wanted to say im happy with the activity in the community but would always like to see it improve.  I want to give a HUGE shout out to Cristel and her group Dirty Girls 4 Life for going through with a car wash to help benefit Sweating Bullets and EGC itself.  Great to see members with this kind of dedication and commitment to the community.  This act is completely selfless and honestly was not expected.  

         Next up I would like to add that for anyone who doesn't already know, EGC ALAC3R EC is making a quickscope/MW2 clan just for MW2.  Joining does NOT mean that you will no longer be part of your current clan.

         Seeing as Black Ops and Halo both have the theater feature I would like to reccomend that we spotlight more videos as play of the week.  This of course being voted on by the members and leaders alike.  I feel this would be more interactive with the community and help put a little competition into things.  Anyone can upload their videos on Black Ops to Youtube with the new features.  Go to CallofDuty.com for more information on how this works.  If you cannot do this let me know and I will take care of it.  I have a capture card and can record it off of your file share, just be sure to let me know which file it is.  Would like to say the plays be no longer than 30 seconds.  If this generates any interest let me know and we will create a forum page for this.

         Next, on March 19th there is a pretty big tournament going on in Iowa for anyone that's interested.  It's a 4v4 MLG styled tournament held by Gathering of Gamers.  GoG has some really cool and chill people and if anyone is in the area I would suggest attending even as a spectator.  Go to TIPGC.com for more information.  They will be holding 4v4 Black Ops, 4v4 Halo: Reach and 1v1 Madden.  I wish I could attend this but I don't have the money and my potential sponsor has not had good luck with things lately so it's a no go for myself.  Along with this MLG is having its opener in Dallas the firs weekend of April.  If you are an avid gamer and fan of competitive gaming you should attend, I'm not sure of the cost for tickets to spectate.  Some of the biggest names in CoD and Halo will be there.  My personal favorite teams being FeaR, EnvyUs and the widely known and probably the best sniping clan ever Optic Gaming will be attending,  If you cannot attend but want to check it out visit http://www.majorleaguegaming.com/ to watch live.  If all goes well I plan to attend MLG Chicago and DC if at all possible.  

         If there are any top notch designers out there let me know.  I'm looking for a background for my Youtube page as well as twitter and justin.tv.  Until I can get photoshop, After Effects and Sony Vegas Pro9 I cannot do them on my own or I would.
